Scouting the South Dakota State Jackrabbits
South Dakota State is 18-9 (10-1 Summit League) on the season. The Jackrabbits have won eight straight league games, including an 81-58 decision Saturday against North Dakota. Madison Guebert led the Jacks with 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor and a 6-of-6 effort at the line. Tagyn Larson added 16 points and six assists, while Tylee Irwin and Macy Miller each scored 11 points.
SDSU, which finished 26-7 (12-2 Summit League) a year ago, was voted to win the league in the Summit League's preseason poll. The Jackrabbits are 8-3 away from Frost Arena this season.
Head coach Aaron Johnston holds a career record of 459-155 in 20 seasons at South Dakota State.
Series History
Omaha trails the all-time series against South Dakota State 41-33, and 13-1 in the Division I era. SDSU defeated UNO 81-47 earlier this season in Brookings, S.D.
