OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha women's soccer team continues Summit League play this week as the Mavericks host a pair of conference foes on Thursday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 13 at Caniglia Field. The Mavericks take on North Dakota State on Thursday night at 7 p.m. before battling South Dakota State on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Scouting the North Dakota State Bison
The North Dakota State Bison are 6-4-1 overall on the season and 1-0-0 in Summit League contests after winning 2-1 vs. South Dakota on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The Bison have scored 17 goals in 11 matches this season. North Dakota State has taken 12.2 shots per match with 45.5 percent of those on target. Five different players have scored goals for NDSU this season.
The North Dakota State defense has allowed 13 goals in 11 matches this year while tallying four shutouts. Bison opponents have attempted 15.7 shots per match, including 49.7 percent of those on goal. Goalkeeper Monica Polgar is 6-4-1 on the season with 75 saves, an .852 save percentage and 1.16 goals-against average.

Scouting the South Dakota State Jackrabbits
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits enter the week with a 9-3-0 overall record and 1-0 record in conference play after posting a 3-0 victory over North Dakota on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Jackrabbits travel to Oral Roberts on Thursday before playing the Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.
The Jackrabbits have scored 18 goals on the season with six different players finding the back of the net. South Dakota State is shooting 14.2 shots per match with 40 percent of those on goal.
The SDSU defense has allowed four goals in 12 contests while recording nine shutouts on the season. Jackrabbit opponents have tallied 10.8 shots per match, incluing 47.3 percent of those on target.
