GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Omaha volleyball team went on the road and swept North Dakota in three sets (25-14, 25-23, 25-20) Saturday morning.
The Mavericks improve to 12-11 and 5-4 in league play, while the Fighting Hawks fall to 10-13 and 2-7 in league action.

• Omaha completes the regular season sweep over North Dakota (won 3-1 at home).
• The Mavericks have now won two-straight matches in three sets.

Sadie Limback recorded her ninth-straight double-digit kill performance with 13 on .344 hitting.
INSIDE SET ONE
Omaha opened the game with a 10-4 run that was capped off by a pair of
Anna Blaschko kills. A kill from Limback increased the Omaha lead to 15-9 and forced North Dakota to use a timeout. From there, Omaha kept its foot on the gas pedal and cruised to a 25-14 opening-set win.
INSIDE SET TWO
The second set saw a back-and-forth game that had the score tied up at 6-all. Limback notched another big kill that put the team up 12-10, but later on North Dakota was able to tie it up at 16-all. Late in the set, Omaha trailed by two (22-20), but the Mavericks did not waiver and evened it up. The final three points were secured by an
Alexa Blase kill, a Limback ace and a UND attack error.
INSIDE SET THREE
The Mavericks, once again, made a valiant effort that was eventually rewarded with a third-set victory. Omaha had to dig deep as it trailed 11-5 early in the set. Down by as many as 16-20, Omaha proceeded to go on a massive, 9-0 run and closed out the victory.
