OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 11 Clemson on Sunday afternoon at Caniglia Field.
The Mavericks fell to 0-2, while the Tigers improved to 1-1.
The lone goal came in the 24th minute on an own goal. Clemson's Adrian Nunez played a corner kick into the penalty area, and a clearance attempt by defender
Hugo Ellouk ended up in the Omaha goal to put the Tigers in front 1-0.
Turning Point
Omaha had a chance to level the game in the 35th minute, but Clemson's Justin Malou cleared
Denzel Woods' shot off the line.
