FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -  The Omaha women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Arkansas on Friday evening at Razorback Field.

The Mavericks fell to 0-2-1, while the Razorbacks moved to 2-0-1.

Omaha and Arkansas battled to a scoreless tie until Marissa Kinsey scored in the 57th minute, giving the Razorbacks a 1-0 lead.

Kinsey scored her second goal of the match in the 86th minute to increase Arkansas' lead to 2-0.

•    Arkansas outshot Omaha 25-2 in the match.  The Mavericks had two shots on goal.
•    Ina Gudjonsdottir started and played all 90 minutes for UNO.  Gudjonsdottir recorded nine saves.
•    Tabitha Allberg made her first collegiate start and recorded one shot on goal.
•    Erinoelle Clifton also had one shot on goal for the Mavericks.

"I am proud of the way the team worked throughout the game in a tough environment.  We played well for nearly 60 minutes but were a bit unfortunate giving up a chance goal.  We will recover and learn from coming down here to play last year's SEC finalists.
