OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics announced today that DJ Sanchez

. "We're sorry DJ is leaving, but we certainly understand her desire to explore life outside athletics.
"I appreciate the opportunity that Trev Alberts
and the university have given me to be a part of this athletic department but at this time in my life, I would like to focus more on my family," said Sanchez. "I am grateful for my time in Omaha, and I am looking forward to the next exciting chapter."
In two seasons as head coach, Sanchez posted a 45-61 record and an 11-17 mark in the Summit League. She coached seven All-Summit selections, four members of the Summit All-Tournament team as well as an Academic All-Summit League pick and an NFCA All-Region selection.
