OMAHA, Neb. -- The locations for the Omaha baseball team's upcoming April series with North Dakota State have been altered, it was announced Tuesday.
The Mavericks were originally scheduled to travel to Fargo, N.D., for their first three-game series with the Bison, April 6-8. With NDSU's Newman Outdoor Field unplayable due to wintry weather, the early series has now been moved to Seymour Smith Park that weekend, with games set for 4 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and Noon on Sunday.
Omaha and NDSU will play the second half of their season series in Fargo with a three-game set April 27-29. The weekend opens with a 6:30 p.m. game on Friday, followed by 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Through the first two weekends of conference play, Omaha sits atop the Summit League standings with a 5-1 record and an overall mark of 9-14.
