OMAHA, Neb. – Three Mavericks scored in double digits as the Omaha women's basketball team defeated Avila, 74-44, in exhibition play Sunday evening at Baxter Arena.

Josie Filer had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Rayanna Carter added 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Elena Pilakouta had 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
Avila
Mattie Morgan scored a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds. Paige Bunn scored six points and three rebounds.
Inside the First Quarter
Omaha opened the game on a 14-2 run.
Sophie Johnston led the Mavericks during the run with six points.
Rayanna Carter added four points, two rebounds and two steals in the quarter. The Mavericks held the Eagles to 1-of-15 (6.7 percent) from the field and forced four turnovers. UNO closed out the first quarter and led the Eagles 20-4.
Inside the Second Quarter
Elena Pilakouta and
Romekia Wallace each scored four points in the quarter. Omaha took a 35-17 lead going into halftime. Johnston scored eight points in the first half and grabbed three rebounds. Pilakouta added six points three assists and two blocks, while Wallace chipped in six points.
Inside the Third Quarter
Omaha scored 20 points and shot 47.4 percent (9-for-19) from the floor.
Claire Killian scored five points in the quarter, while Carter and
Alicia Mountain each added four points. Avila shot 40 percent (6-for-15) from the floor, including 55.6 percent (5-for-9) from long distance.
Inside the Fourth Quarter
Omaha shot 60 percent (9-for-15) from the floor while holding Avila to 20 percent (4-for-20) in the fourth quarter.
Josie Filer scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds in the quarter. Pilakouta added two points and three assists as the Mavericks closed out the 74-44 victory.
