Madison Ewald finished second (1:37.90), while the B team of Landt, Jahn,
Samantha Starke and
Anna Capoun took third (1:41.75).
"Today was a more challenging day, and you could tell we weren't as sharp as last night," head coach
Todd Samland said. "I think the amount of training we've done over the last three weeks contributed to it, but we have to start figuring out ways to come back the next day because that's what we'll face at the Summit League Championships.
"We had some bright spots though, especially
Kylie Vermeire in the 200 free and
Naeleah Hadford in the 50 free and 100 back about 15 minutes apart today. This weekend was a good look for us as we consider our roster for the conference meet next month."
On the diving side,
Annika Clinton finished third in the 1-meter event (245.55), and
Monica Houck was third in the 3-meter (257.92).
"Our divers performed well again today," Samland said. "You could tell they were fighting the whole way through and being competitive. The whole diving crew is doing a great job, and we're looking forward to taking them to conference to help meet our goals there."
Omaha returns to action next Friday, Jan. 19 with a Summit League dual at South Dakota State. The meet is set for 6 p.m. in Brookings, S.D.
