OMAHA, Neb. – The No. 17 Omaha men's soccer team picked up a 1-0 victory over UC Riverside at Caniglia Field Friday night.
The Mavericks improved to 5-0 (0-0 Summit League) on the season, while the Highlanders drop to 0-4 (0-0 Big West).
Jacob Weiler scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half, taking advantage of a misplay from UCR keeper Vincent Morales to score his first goal of the season.
Brahan Gamarra earned the assist on the game-winner.
