OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision Friday evening to Northern Iowa at Caniglia Field.
Northern Iowa's Sarah Brandt fired a shot from about 25 yards out that found the top corner to put the Panthers up 1-0 in the first half. UNI doubled the score in the 51st minute as Brynell Yount put home a pass from Kelsey Yarrow.
Turning Point
Sarah Brandt broke a scoreless tie in the 34th minute by firing a shot from 25 yards out that went over the Omaha keeper to give UNI a 1-0 lead.
