• For the first time since the 2007-08 season and for just the ninth time in school history, Omaha has won at least seven games in a row. Through nine games, Omaha is 7-2, with its two losses coming in the first two games of the season.

Courtney Vaccher,
Amber Vidal and
Jess Walter have led Omaha's offensive attack through the first nine games. The quartet has averaged 46.6 points, 18.1 rebounds and 11.6 assists per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. Brecht, Vidal and Walter are the Mavericks top three scorers this season, while Vaccher leads the team in rebounds and blocked shots.
• Vidal's numbers have been outstanding this season. The San Antonio, Texas, native is averaging 12.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. She also leads the team in minutes played, appearing in 319 out of a possible 360 minutes.
• Walter leads the team in scoring with 15.4 points per game and is second on the team with 4.3 assists per game.
• Brecht is second on the team in rebounding (4.9 rpg) and tied for second in scoring (12.9 ppg).

Claire Killian is fourth on the squad in scoring (10.6 ppg) and tied for the team lead in steals.
• Brecht, Vaccher, Walter and
Jay Bridgeman each average over 4.0 rebounds per game.
• Last season, UNO finished 16-15 overall and fifth in the Summit League with a mark of 8-8. The Mavericks were picked fifth in the league's 2017-18 preseason poll last month.
• Omaha returns two of five starters from last season's team, including Vaccher and Vidal.
• UNO also returns juniors Brecht and
Kalen Phillips, along with sophomore Bridgeman.
• Walter and sophomore
Sara Echelberry return to action after redshirting in 2016-17.
• The Mavericks welcome six newcomers in juniors

About Creighton
The Blue Jays are 4-3 overall (0-0 Big East) on the season and enter Sunday's contest 3-2 in their last five games. Last time out, Creighton needed four overtime periods to defeat Drake, 108-100. Audrey Faber scored a career-high 34 points in the victory, while Sydney Lamberty and Jaylyn Agnew each scored over 20 points.
Faber leads the team in scoring averaging 20.0 points per game. Agnew averages 15.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
Head coach Jim Flanery is in his 16th year with the Lady Jays with a career mark of 297-194 at Creighton.
Omaha vs. Creighton
Omaha leads the all-time series with Creighton, 16-12. The Bluejays won the last meeting 82-45 on Dec. 7, 2016.
