In Their Own Words
Omaha head coach Jason Mims on tonight's performance.
"I thought we had a good game plan and executed it very well. The great news is our team played with heart and pride. We were able to frustrate Denver for large portions of the game, and we knew we were going to have a lead late. We prepared for the moment, but it just wasn't our night. The last minute of tonight's game is going to be hard to watch as there were several things I'm sure we would do over."
How will tonight's result help the team get ready for next weekend?
"The leaders of this team will step up and rally around the ending of tonight's game and use it for motivation so we can be ready for Saturday. We are fortunate to end the regular season at home and in front of our great fans at Caniglia Field."
