The Teams
In their last game, the Mavericks fell at Oral Roberts, 67-58, on Feb. 25. Freshman center Caroline Hogue led the way with 25 points, seven rebounds, and six blocked shots. UNO is 13-14 overall and 6-9 in Summit League play.
Omaha is led by third year head coach Brittany Lange. On the season, the Mavericks are shooting 41.8 percent (635-of-1518) from the floor and 32.3 percent (169-of-523) from 3-point distance. Omaha is one of the best free throw shooting teams in the league hitting 72.9 percent (280-of-384) of their chances. Defensively, the Mavericks hold the opposition to 38.5 percent (654-of-1697) from the floor and 31.9 percent (145-of-455) from deep. UNO has blocked 160 shots on the season, which is a program record.
Mikaela Shaw averages 18.1 points per game to lead the Summit League. Shaw leads the Mavs in rebounds (214) assists (84), steals (43), and field goal percentage (52.4 percent). Remy Davenport is next on the team averaging 10.5 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. Davenport is shooting 38.5 percent (62-of-161) from 3-point distance. Caroline Hogue averages 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots per game.
Denver comes into Saturday's contest with a 5-23 overall record and 3-12 mark in conference competition. In their last game, the Pioneers topped North Dakota State, 55-45, on Feb. 20. Freshman Samantha Romanowski had a team-high 12 points in the victory.
Kerry Cremeans is in her fourth year at the helm of the Pioneers basketball program. Denver averages 53.2 points per game, but give up 65.2 per game. DU shoots at a 39 percent (556-1427) clip from the field, while their opponents shoot at 40.7 percent (653-of-1604).
Paige Bradley leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game. Romanowski averages 10 points per game. Jordyn Alt leads the Pioneers in rebounding averaging 8.4 boards per game.
Series History
There have been six games in the all-time series between the two programs. Omaha leads the series 4-2 and has won two straight meetings. Earlier this season, the Mavs topped to Pioneers 67-55 at Baxter Arena.

- Mikaela Shaw's 18.1 points per game ranks first in the Summit League, while her 7.9 rebounds per game is fifth and her 52.3 field goal percentage is fourth in the league. The junior from Deweese, Neb., has scored 20 or more points in a game 10 times games this year and has led Omaha in scoring 18 times. She has scored in double figures every game this season and 28 straight games dating back to last season.
- Caroline Hogue leads the league with 3.0 blocked shots per game and ranks 15th nationally. The freshman currently ranks fourth in blocked shots in a single season with 82 and is seventh on the all-time charts.
- Ellie Brecht is second in the Summit League with a 40.2 three-point field goal percentage. Remy Davenport is fifth in the league with a 38.5 three-point field goal percentage.
