OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's basketball team hits the road for its final road trip of the season Thursday. The Mavericks face off at Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Okla. at 7 p.m. before heading west to Denver for a matinee Saturday against the Pioneers.

The Teams
Omaha enters Thursday's contest with a 13-13 overall record and is in sixth place in the Summit League standings with a 6-8 mark. The Mavericks are coming off a 57-54 win over third place IUPUI last Thursday evening.
Brittany Lange is in her third year at the helm of the Omaha basketball program. This season the Mavericks are led on the court by junior Mikaela Shaw. Shaw leads the Summit League in points per game (18.3 ppg) and is third in rebounds per game (8.2 rpg). She also leads the team in assists (3.1) and steals (1.6) per game, as well as field goal percentage (52.3 percent).
Remy Davenport is second on the team in scoring with 10.4 points per game. The sophomore also averages 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Caroline Hogue is next averaging 8.6 points per game. Hogue is the Summit League leader in blocked shots per game at 2.9.
As a team, UNO averages 63.9 points per game, while giving up only 63.4 per game. The Mavericks shoot 41.9 percent (612-1459) from the field and 32.5 percent (164-505) from 3-point distance. Omaha also leads the Summit League with 5.9 blocks per game. Last week, the Mavericks broke last season's record for blocks in a season (142) and have 153 rejections so far this season.
Thursday night's game for Oral Roberts is their regular season finale. The Golden Eagles are 12-15 overall and 9-6 in the Summit League. They are in sole possession of fourth place in the league standings. ORU is 1-3 in its last four games, the lone winning was a 79-55 victory over Western Illinois.
Misti Cussen is in her fourth year at the helm of the ORU program. Kaylan Mayberry and Faith Ihim each average double-figures for Golden Eagles. Mayberry averages a team-high 10.9 points per game, while Ihim averages 10.0 per game. Ihim also leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per game, while Mayberry leads the team with 57 assists.
As a team, ORU averages 58.0 points per game, while the opposition averages 61.0 per game. The Golden Eagles shoot 38.2 percent (587-of1537) from the floor and 30.5 percent (148-of-486) from 3-point range.
Series History
Oral Roberts and Omaha have matched up five times since joining the Summit League. ORU owns a 4-1 advantage over UNO, including a last-second win over the Mavericks earlier this season, 67-65.

- Mikaela Shaw's 18.3 points per game ranks first in the Summit League, while her 8.2 rebounds per game is tied for third and her 52.3 field goal percentage is fourth in the league. The junior from Deweese, Neb., has scored 20 or more points in a game 10 times games this year and has led Omaha in scoring 18 times. She has scored in double figures every game this season and 27 straight games dating back to last season.
- Caroline Hogue leads the league with 2.9 blocked shots per game and ranks 14th nationally. The freshman currently ranks fourth in blocked shots in a single season with 76 and is seventh on the all-time charts.
- Ellie Brecht is second in the Summit League with a 40.9 three-point field goal percentage. Remy Davenport is fifth in the league with a 39.0 three-point field goal percentage.
- The Mavericks lead the Summit League with 5.9 blocked shots per game and are 11th nationally in the category.
- UNO also leads the league with a 73.0 free throw percentage and is third with a 41.9 field goal percentage.
- The Mavericks hold the opposition to a 38.5 field goal percentage, which is second in the league.
