SEASIDE, Calif. – Katie Kesti shot a team-best round of 75 to help the Omaha women's golf team move up to fifth on a cold and windy second day of the Summit League Championship.
The Mavericks had a team round of 324 to move up from seventh with a 36-hole total of 654. Denver continues to lead with a score of 619, followed by South Dakota State and Oral Roberts which are tied for second at 627.
Kesti and Sophie Peters are tied for the team scoring lead with scores of 158. Peters shot a round of 81 on Tuesday, and both players sit in a tie for ninth overall.
Megan Vetrovsky shot a round of 83 for a two-day total of 163 which puts her in a tie for 24th in the 45-player tournament.
Makenna Kroeker is tied for 40th overall after shooting 85 in round two for a total score of 175. Alexa Ruwe concluded the scoring for the Mavericks with a round of 91 which puts her at 186 for the tournament.
The final round will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. CT from the Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, Calif.
