Doluony Leaves UNO Men's Basketball Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior Koang Doluony has chosen to leave the Omaha men's basketball team effective immediately, head coach Derrin Hansen announced Tuesday.

Doluony's decision was based on family reasons away from basketball.

"Koang has some family responsibilities that require his attention away from the basketball court and graduate school," Hansen said. "We were glad to have him as a member of our program this season and appreciate his efforts. We wish Koang nothing but the best."

Doluony, a 6-8 forward, began his career at Indiana State and transferred to UNO for his final season of eligibility in 2012-13. He earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from ISU in four years, graduating in August 2012.
