KIRKSVILLE, Mo. -
Armana Christianson tied her career low with a round of 73 on Tuesday to lead the UNO women's golf team to a win at the Bulldog Classic hosted by Truman State.
Christianson was the individual medalist, finishing with a two-round score of 153. She was in good company. The Mavericks had the top three golfers and four of the top six in earning a 35-stroke victory over runner up Missouri Western (673). Host Truman State was third at 680.
Christianson's 73 was one under par on the 5,813-yard, par 74 layout at the Kirksville Country Club.
Rebecca Pollock, who led UNO with a 77 in round one, closed with an 83 and finished second for the Mavs and overall at 160. Brooke Thilges was third for UNO and overall with a score of 162. She shot 80 on Tuesday.
Elizabeth Havekost was fourth for the Mavericks and sixth overall with a score of 164. She closed with an 81.
Melyssa Doerr closed out the scoring with a two-day total of 175.
It was the final event for UNO in the fall season. Christianson finishes the fall with UNO's best stroke average at 79.2. Pollock is second at 80.8. Click
