KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Rebecca Pollock shot an opening round 77 to help put UNO in the lead after the first round of the Bulldog Classic hosted by Truman State on Sunday.

The Mavericks shot a team score of 321 to put them in the lead of the six-team field.  Missouri Western is second at 336, and Lincoln is third at 345.  Round two begins with a shotgun start on Monday at 9 a.m.

Pollock shot 39 on the front and 38 on the back to put herself in a tie for first with Missouri Western's Shelby Stone.  Armana Christianson was second for UNO and third overall with a first-round score of 80.  Brooke Thilges and Melyssa Doerr are tied for fourth overall with Lincoln's Payton Schooler with a score of 82.  Elizabeth Havekost rounded out the scoring for the Mavericks at 83.
