OMAHA, Neb. - Cody Garcia (133) advanced to the semifinals today in Session II of the 2010 Division II Championship at Sapp Fieldhouse. Garcia defeated his opponent, Kyle Pedretti of Upper Iowa to move to 47-0 on the year. Garcia collected his second fall of the day, pinning Pedretti two minutes into the match.

Terrell McKinney (125) lost his match against highly-ranked Tyler Mumbulo of the UIU Peacocks, 5-4. Mario Morgan (141) took care of business when he took  on Adam Hluschak of ESUP as he won, 7-3.

Redshirt freshman George Ivanov of Council Bluffs, Iowa moved into the semifinals with a dramatic win against Marcus Edginston of Augustana. With the score locked up at 1-1 in the final seconds of the third period, Ivanov scored a takedown as time expired to earn the 3-1 decision. All four UNO wrestlers will see action again tomorrow in Session III which begins at 10 a.m.
