NEW YORK, N.Y. - Former University of Nebraska at Omaha quarterback Zach Miller is one of five players being considered for National Football League Rookie of the Week honors. Miller caught two touchdown passes in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 23-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Miller grabbed his first career National Football League touchdown early in the fourth quarter on a six-yard pass from Jaguars' QB David Garrard. Miller snagged his second TD of the game as time expired on a 15-yard strike from Garrard.
The Wahoo, Neb., native finished the game with a season-high eight receptions for 69 yards.
Miller, who converted to tight end for the AFC South's Jaguars, finished the season with 21 receptions for 212 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games played. Once used to throwing the ball a little more, Miller did not attempt one pass for the Jaguars, but did run the ball one time for three yards. He caught a career-long 62 yard pass against the Houston Texans on Dec. 6, 2009.
The Jaguars finished the 2009 season with a 7-9 overall record and were 6-5 in AFC South action.
