CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The top-ranked and top-seeded UNO wrestling team earned its sixth-straight trip to the NWCA /Cliff Keen National Duals finals with a dominating 30-6 win over rival Minnesota State Sunday at the UNI-Dome.

UNO won eight of 10 matches in the dual.

Redshirt freshman Terrell McKinney collected one of the biggest wins of his brief college wrestling career with an upset of fourth-ranked (125 pounds) Andy Forstner

McKinney scored a reversal and a take down to climb to a 6-4 lead in the final seconds of the third period for the win. The Omaha native is now 3-0 on the weekend at the National duals and 18-7 overall on the season.

Cody Garcia won his 27th match of the season and third dual win of the weekend with a 19-6 major decision over Matt Nyvold at 133. Garcia is now 27-0 on the season.

Sixth-ranked Mario Morgan battled with Robby Fisher in the 141-pound match. Morgan collected the 7-4 decision and gave the Mavericks a 10-0 lead in the dual.

MSU's Travis Elg defeated Tait Weatherbee to give MSU its first three points of the dual in the 149-pound match.

At 157, George Ivanov and Justin Turek needed extra time to decide their match but it was Ivanov who scored a take down to earn the sudden victory, 3-1. Ivanov is now 3-0 on the weekend and 22-7 on the year. Wrestling in his first National Duals, Ivanov has upset top-ranked Andy Lamancusa (Mercyhurst), fifth-ranked John Sundgren (St. Cloud State) and senior Justin Turek (Minnesota State).

Ryan Pankoke scored a 9-3 win over Tel Todd in the 165-pound match and gave UNO a 16-3 lead in the dual.

In the 174-pound match, sophomore Brett Rosedale scored six points in the first period and held on for a 6-4 win over Ben Becker.

Third-ranked Austin Boehm rebounded from yesterday's loss against Derek Skala (St. Cloud State) with a win by fall over Aaron Norgren at 4:28.

Fourth-ranked Jacob Marrs followed Boehm's lead with a pin of his own over Pat Mahan just 58 seconds into the 197-pound match.

Third-ranked Elijah Madison fell to top-ranked Brady Wilson 2-1 in the heavy weight battle.

A rematch of last year's Division II Nation Duals finals is set for 3 p.m. today with the Mavericks squaring off with second-ranked and second-seeded Newberry. Last year, UNO defeated Newberry 23-19 in the finals of the 2009 National Duals. The Mavericks will try to repeat for the second time and win their fifth NWCA National Duals title. UNO has won the National Duals meet in 2009, 2006, 2005 and 1997.
