OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO golf team has cancelled its one home tournament because of the threat of rain and snow in Omaha over the weekend.  The Ironwood UNO Collegiate Invitational, the Mavericks' only home tournament of the year, was supposed to be played at Ironwood Country Club on Sunday and Monday, April 5 and 6.

Local forecasters are calling for rain to change to snow with a potential accumulation of 3-6 inches through Sunday evening.  Monday's forecast calls for cloudy skies with flurries and temperatures in the mid-30s.

The Mavericks next tournament will be the Tarleton State Invitational in Granbury, Texas on Sunday and Monday, April 12 and 13.
