The University of Nebraska at Omaha, with championships in four sports, finished third in the final North Central Conference Cup standings. UNO was third in the women's and fifth in the men's standings.

 Minnesota State, Mankato, captured both the men's and women's races and the overall NCC Cup. UNO won the women's swimming title to go with men's championships in football, wrestling and baseball.

The Mavericks recorded second-place finishes in soccer, volleyball and softball and were third in golf, tennis and men's basketball. UNO has four men's sports and 10 women's sports.
