OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Nebraska-Omaha softball team will spend Spring Break in Orlando, Fla., competing in the Rebel Spring Games, Mar. 15-20.
The Mavs (5-2), ranked No. 7 in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll, will play 12 games over a six day period, beginning with a doubleheader Saturday, where they will play Ashland at 1 p.m., and Eckerd at 5 p.m.

Mar. 15: Ashland, 1 p.m.; Eckerd, 5 p.m.
Mar. 16: William Woods, 11 a.m.; Caldwell, 3 p.m.
Mar. 17: Mass-Lowell, 3 p.m.; Chestnut Hill, 5 p.m.
Mar. 18: Philadelphia, 9 a.m.; UW-Parkside, 11 a.m.
Mar. 19: New Haven, 11 a.m.; Tiffin, 3 p.m.
Mar. 20: Holy Family, 3 p.m.; Georgian Court, 5 p.m.
Last season the Mavericks went 7-5 in their annual trip to Orlando, including a close, 3-1, loss at the hands of Ashland.
UNO will return home and open their home slate Tuesday, Mar. 25, with a doubleheader against in-state rival Nebraska-Kearney at Claussen Westgate Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. The doubleheader against the Lopers was originally set to be played in Kearney on Mar. 5, but due to poor weather conditions it was postponed and rescheduled.
