Richie King started his role as the Manager, Business Development at Omaha Sports Properties in March of 2024.

King, a native of Port Huron, Michigan, comes to Omaha following a stint on the west coast where he served in a variety of roles in Southern California and Nevada. In his most recent role, King was the Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs of the National Lacrosse League. He oversaw partner communication and activation for the club while assisting with partnership sales efforts.

Prior to his coordinator role, King spent two years across various professional and collegiate sport organizations while earning a master’s degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco in 2023. He spent time working for the San Diego Padres, San Diego Wave FC, UC San Diego athletic department, and World Lacrosse during his time in the program.

He also received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in athletic coaching from Saginaw Valley State University in 2021. He worked for campus recreation as an intramural sport official and was a teacher’s assistant for exercise physiology lab while attending Saginaw Valley.
