Joy Leick enters her first year Omaha's Director of Volleyball Operations in 2016, having joined the Maverick staff in June.

Leick previously served as UNO's team manager from 2014-16, coordinating travel, correspondence and game and practice film duties. She has also served as a longtime member of the UNO Volleyball Camps coaching staff.

As a player at College of Saint Mary, Leick was a two-year letterwinner for the Flames from 2011-12. During her career, she earned NAIA all-conference distinction and was an Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska Honorable Mention pick both seasons. Leick also garnered first-team Academic All-District recognition from Capital One/CoSIDA as a sophomore.

A native of Omaha, Leick graduated from UNO with her bachelor's degree in physical education and a concentration in exercise science in May 2016.
