Omaha Athletics

Alicia Ostrander joined the Omaha volleyball staff in 2019 as a student volunteer. She comes to the Mavericks as a former four-year letterwinner at The University of Nebraska, where she was part of the 2015 National Championship team.

Ostrander was a two-time team captain for the Husker's volleyball program as an outside hitter. After her collegiate career, she played professionally for Ciutadella Club Volleyball in Menorca, Spain.

During her time as a student-athlete, she also served as a coach at the Nebraska volleyball camp and was an assistant coach for Volleyball Club Nebraska.

A native of Gordon, Neb., she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in education.
