As a junior in 2007-08: Was eighth in the NCC indoor meet in long jump and third in triple jump...won the Doane indoor meet triple jump...she had a UNO season-best 17-09 3/4 in the long jump during the Nebraska-Lincoln outdoor meet...was fourth in the long jump during the NCC outdoor championship and fifth in the triple jump.

As a sophomore in 2006-07: Finished sixth in the long jump and seventh in the triple jump at the 2007 NCC Indoor Meet...placed seventh in the long jump at the NCC Outdoors.

As a freshman in 2005-06: Placed ninth in the triple jump and 11th in the long jump at the 2006 NCC Outdoor Meet...finished 15th in both the long jump and triple jump at the 2006 NCC Indoor Championships.

High School: Finished fifth in the triple jump at the Nebraska state track and field championships as a senior at Burke High School...placed fourth at the state meet her junior year in the long jump.

Personal: Born Oct. 11, 1986 in Omaha...parents are Keely and Doug Yates...has one brother, Curtis, and a sister, Samantha...majoring in elementary education with goal of teaching kindergarten...hobbies include reading, shopping, cleaning and her dogs.
