High School: Four-year letterwinner in tennis at Skutt Catholic HS… also lettered in volleyball and bowling …earned all-state honors as a junior and senior…2008 all-state captain…academic all-conference…coached by Sheryl Vaughn…was the 2008 No. 1 singles champion and 2007 No. 1  doubles runner-up…compiled a 26-3 record as a senior and a 36-5 mark in her junior year.

Personal: Birthday is Jan. 20, 1990…daughter of Chris and Carol Lausten…has three siblings, Christopher, Michelle and Melissa…a biology major…career ambition is to become a nurse practitioner or pediatrician…chose UNO because of the education programs and the opportunity to play tennis.
