In her first year with the team, started with two straight sets victories at No. 4 singles…Finished the year with a 2-5 singles record, including a 2-2 record at No. 4 singles…Compiled a 1-3 record at No. 3 doubles with her twin sister, Rachel Pierson.

Four-year letterwinner at Red Oak High School...Won back-to-back state doubles championships with her twin sister, Rachel...Helped Red Oak finish fourth at state as a sophomore, junior and senior...As a freshman, finished third in state doubles, followed by a state runner-up showing as a sophomore...Went undefeated in conference play during her high school career...Also lettered four years in volleyball as a middle hitter, helping the Tigers to two state tournament appearances.

Born March 20, 1992 in Omaha, Neb....Daughter of Jeff and Debbie Pierson...Has two sisters, Rachel Pierson and Amy Wolff...Amy lettered for the Mavericks from 2006-07, and twin sister Rachel is a sophomore on the UNO roster..Hobbies include spending time with family and friends, shopping and being outdoors...Majoring in criminology and criminal justice.
