2016 (Freshman)
Ran in all six meets for the Mavericks this season, scoring in one of them…posted a personal best 6K time of 23:40.6 to finish fifth for Omaha at the NCAA Regional Preview (Oct. 1)…was ninth for the Mavericks at the Summit League Championship with time of 25:26.3 (Oct. 29)…finished seventh for the Mavericks with a time of 24:23.3 at the NCAA Midwest Regionals (Nov. 11).

Before UNO
Was a four-year letter winner for Fort Madison High School...as a senior, was the Southeast Iowa individual conference champion in cross country, finishing 11th at the state meet and earning all-state honors...was all-state in track after finishing seventh in the 1,500 meterss and second on the 4 x 800 meter relay...in all, qualified for the Iowa state track & field championship six times and the state cross country championship three times...also was all-conference academic for all four years.

Personal
Born March 19, 1998...daughter of Ben and Jenny Steffensmeier...has three brothers, Isaac, Aaron and Nathan, and a sister, Rachel...her brother Isaac has run cross country and track for Central College...majoring in exercise science.
