2019 Omaha Women’s Basketball Summer Camps

CAMP INFORMATION
For athletes looking for more advanced instruction, Elite Camp will include intensive offensive and defensive position fundamental teaching. Through a variety of ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defensive drills, we will teach the concepts that will help athletes refine and improve their basketball skills. Competitive situations will be a part of daily instruction.

Elementary Skills Camps I AND II are three-day camps provides young basketball players on-court instruction and insight to the fundamentals of basketball. Emphasis will be placed on developing essential skills, including offensive and defensive basics, shooting, ball handling, passing, proper exercising mechanics and more. Campers will walk away with a better understanding of basketball, teamwork and work ethic. The goal of the camp is to promote knowledge of basketball skills and to ensure a fun, positive experience for all participants.


ELITE CAMP
Date: June 3, 2019
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $95 (Early bird registration $85 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 7-12

ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMP I
Dates: June 5-7, 2019
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $165 (Early bird registration $150 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 1-6

ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMP II
Dates: June 10-12, 2019
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $165 (Early bird registration $150 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 1-6

ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMPS I AND II BUNDLE
Dates: June 5-7 and June 10-12, 2019
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $270
Ages: Entering grades 1-6


GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Coaches: Omaha Women's Basketball camps have qualified staff that has acquired coaching experience from high school and NCAA Divisions I, II, and III.

Camp Benefits: Each camper will receive a Maverick Women's Basketball camp T-shirt. Skill Development campers will also receive a basketball.

Facilities: Camps will be held at Sapp Fieldhouse on UNO's Dodge Campus (6001 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68182).

Camp Attire: All campers should wear appropriate basketball training gear and shoes. Basketballs will be provided.

Camp Store: A variety of snacks, beverages, and lunch specials will be available for purchase through our camp store daily.  (Skill and Position Camps only).
