Randy Kush, Hochstein on AP All-America Squad
Defensive back Randy Kush and offensive lineman Ben Hochstein have been named to the Associated Press' Little All-America team.
Hochstein has now been named to three All-America teams and Kush to one. Hochstein was also named to the AFCA and Daktronics teams, while Kush was named to the Daktronics second-team.
Kush, a senior safety from Gretna, Neb., is the school's all-time interception leader with 17. He led UNO with 100 total tackles in 2007, earning all-North Central Conference honors, and was also named the NCC's most valuable defensive back. He also led the team in punt returns with a 15.5 average, including one for a touchdown.
Hochstein, a senior from Hartington, Neb., was the NCC's most valuable offensive lineman for a second consecutive season.
