Named Summit League Defensive Player of the Week during the week of Sept. 14…played in all 18 games and started nine at midfielder…tied a school record with two assists at DePaul on Sept. 13…Scored one goal vs. Fort Wayne on Oct. 3…finished his Maverick career third in games played with 64.
2014 (Junior) Season Statistics
Played in 17 games and started four in the midfield…had one assist on the season coming against Belmont on Sept. 7…recorded eight shots and put one on goal this season.
2013 (Sophomore)
Played in 16 games and started three in the midfield...scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Belmont...also had one assist for the year...recorded eight shots and put three on frame.
2012 (Freshman)
Played in 13 games and started 10 in the midfield before his freshman season ended because of an injury...earned his first-career point with an assist in a 4-1 win over Eastern Illinois on Oct. 6...recorded 11 shots and put three on frame.
Before UNO
Was a standout attacking midfielder and forward at Bel Air High School in El Paso, Texas...as a senior in 2011-12, scored 17 goals and 14 assists and was named first-team all-district and all-city by the El Paso Times after helping the Highlanders reach the Elite 8 of the Texas 5A state tournament...finished in the top 10 percent of his class...played club soccer for Texas Fire, which ranked as high as fifth in the nation at one point.

Born Jesus Eduardo Perez on Feb. 18, 1994 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico...son of Carlos and Micaela Perez...has one sister, Rocio, and two brothers, Carlos and Marcos.
