OMAHA, Neb. - Two of Omaha's Learfield representatives, Bri Chavez and Brenna Ochoa, were honored by Learfield during the company's annual awards.
Chavez, who serves as the general manager of Omaha Sports Properties, was named the 2026 Player of the Year for Learfield. The award is designed to honor one outstanding team member within Learfield who exemplify exceptional dedication to an athletic department and go above and beyond to serve their athletes. Going into her sixth year with Learfield and her fourth year in Omaha, Chavez was instrumental in guaranteeing both the jersey patch deals for Hockey and Men's Basketball.
Ochoa wrapped up her first year with Learfield with a nomination for the 2026 Rookie of the Year award. The award honors one worker in their first year who has demonstrated exceptional dedication as well as rapid skill development. Ochoa was one of four nominees company-wide.
"Bri and Brenna are incredibly deserving of this recognition," said Camden Stockton, Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. "Bri's (Chavez) Player of the Year award is a reflection of the outstanding leadership she provides to our team and the incredible partnership she has built with Omaha Athletics to create an exceptional experience for our fans and sponsors.
