CLEVELAND – The Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA) has selected Shaney Fink, vice president of athletics at Seattle University, to serve as President for the 2025-26 membership year.
"As we navigate a pivotal era in intercollegiate athletics, I am honored to serve as the 2025-26 I-AAA Athletic Directors Association President," stated Fink. "I look forward to partnering with my 1-AAA colleagues and the NACDA staff as we work together to champion student athlete success on an off the field."
Fink takes the reins from Steve Watson, director of athletics at Loyola University Chicago, who will transition to Past President. Serving alongside Fink will be:
- 1st Vice President Ed McLaughlin, vice president and director of athletics at Virginia Commonwealth University;
- 2nd Vice President/Treasurer Philip Hutcheson, director of athletics at Lipscomb University; and
- 3rd Vice President/Secretary Adrian Dowell, vice chancellor / director of athletics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
DI-AAA ADA welcomes three new athletics leaders to the 2025-26 Executive Committee:
- Phil Brown, Le Moyne College;
- Tim Hall, Longwood University; and
- Ed Kull, St. John's University
The remainder of the 2025-26 DI-AAA ADA Executive Committee consists of:
- Dan Butterly, Big West Commissioner;
- Scott Corley, Belmont University;
- Andrew Gavin, SIU Edwardsville;
- Lenny Kaplan, New Jersey Institute of Technology;
- Marvin Lewis, George Mason University;
- Bill Maher, Canisius College;
- Mike Matoso, St. Mary's College of California;
- Christina Roybal, Northern Kentucky University;
- Paula Smith, University of California Irvine; and
- Scott Wiegandt, Bellarmine University.
