The Omaha women's tennis team fell in their first conference dual against South Dakota 5-2. 

Zoe Adkins and Khayli Buckels extended their singles win streak to five. 

"Good match today, we just came up short," said head coach Adam Summitt. "We had some tough conditions in the wind and didn't handle it the best during doubles. However, we had a strong turn around in singles. We were right there with them. We just couldn't convert some key points. That's really the difference." 

The Mavericks will head to Lincoln for a dual against Nebraska on March 3.
