The Omaha women's tennis team had their first-ever program win against the Marquette University Golden Eagles, making a comeback win 4-3. 

Omaha was down 1-3, but the Mavericks came back in singles to take the win. With today's win, head coach Adam Summitt reaches the 100 mark on career wins with the women's team. 

"What a win. Down 1-3 and Keegan, Khayli and Zoe carried us to the finish line," said Summitt. "We struggled in doubles and had no momentum. Everyone battled in singles to get us four points. Paula had a quick win to help us get on the board quick, which helps. Then we had to battle. Khayli was down 0-3 in the third and just fought back to earn that win. Keegan played a solid player with a big serve, just a tough matchup. But she never wavered and put her nose down and kept working. Zoe capped it off with the clinch. True team win today, very proud of them. Looking to do it again tomorrow."

The 5-7 Mavericks will take on Eastern Illinois tomorrow Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.
