The Omaha Men's Tennis team wrapped up their home slate tonight with a 6-1 Senior Day victory over Marquette University. The Mavericks Improved to 12-8 on the season and completed their home guantlet 7-1.

"Everyone contributed to tonight's win. Im glad we were able to send the seniors out with a W in their last home match," Mavericks head coach Matt Barlow said. "I'm very grateful to have had our seniors Davis Lawley, Hugo Piles, and Alvaro Quintana in our program the last 5 years and thankful for all they have contributed to our program. Hopefully we can extend our time with them and make it to the post season with a good finish to the regular season."

The Mavericks secured the doubles point and never looked back. Doubles dous of Davis Lawley/Quintan Van Wijk and Hugo Piles Ballester/Alvaro Quintana secured the doubles win with a 7-5 and 7-6 victory respectively. In singles, Mikhail Korkunov, Ethan Gaubert, Ryoma Mishiro, Hugo Piles and Quintan Van Wijk all tallied victories to help Omaha defeat Marquette.

The Mavericks will head to Drake University next weekend for their only competition action of the weekend on Saturday, April 8.
