The Omaha Mavericks Women's Tennis team had their third look at a Summit League opponent this afternoon when they took on the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota. The Mavericks fell to North Dakota 5-2 getting a pair of gutsy singles victories from Jessica Aragon and Zoe Adkins.

"It was a disappointing result today. We played okay, but playing okay doesn't win a dual," Omaha head coach Adam Summitt said. "We had some good play out of Jessica, Zoe and Brooke. Zoe and Jessica had an epic comeback and I'm proud of them for not quitting. Even though we lost, each point is valuable for us in the end. I hope we bounce back for Sunday and then going into next week."

Despite losing the doubles point, Jessica Aragon and Alexia Di Giulio had a solid 6-2 victory over their opponents. Both Aragon and Adkins dropped their first sets 6-4. Both Mavericks battled back to three set victories. Aragon won 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 while Adkins rallied to win 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 as well.
