OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks split a pair of matches this week. They kickoff the action across town at Creighton on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. followed by a home match vs. Kansas City on Saturday to open league action. Omaha is coming off a 1-0 win vs. Midland last week, while the Bluejays and Roos haven't picked up a win in two weeks.

Creighton played to a 1-1 draw at vs. Ohio State following the win vs. the Hoosiers. The Bluejays are on a two-game skid after falling to No. 1 Georgetown and St. John's. They sit 0-2-0 in Big East play.

- Diego Gutierrez has made six starts for Creighton. He is tied as the team leader with four points off two goals, including a game winner. He has 13 shots with six shots on goal.
- Manu Toledano adds another four points on two goals for the Bluejays. He also has 13 shots with six shots on goal.

Scouting the Kansas City Roos
The Roos are 1-3-3 to start the season and have a 0-0-1 league record. Kansas City opened league action last weekend at Oral Roberts where the Roos and Eagles played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw. Prior to ORU, the Roos played to a 1-1 draw at Dayton and picked up their only win of the season at SIUE on Sept. 10, 1-0.

- Kazuki Kimura adds three points for the Roos. He has a goal and an assist this season. Kimura has also tallied 12 shots on the year. Three of them on goal.
- Cooper Clark has logged all 673:52 minutes between the pipes. He has 35 saves for a .745 save percentage. Kruse has allowed 12 goals so far this season for a 1.60 goals against average.
Series History
The Bluejays lead the all-time series 2-1-1. The teams met last season at Caniglia field with the Mavericks winning 3-0 for their first win against their crosstown rival. The all-time series with the Roos is tied 3-3-1. Kansas City took two wins over Omaha last season for Omaha's only two conference losses.
