OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha women's basketball has released its 2021-22 non-conference schedule, head coach
Carrie Banks announced Wednesday.
The nine-game slate begins with five games on the road before hosting the next four non-conference foes at Baxter Arena. The Mavericks will play in five different states and face opponents from six different conferences.
"I am excited about our tough non-conference schedule and the opportunity to play in front of our fans this season," said Banks. "We have a young team and we will be tested early. I'm looking forward to seeing people in Baxter again."
The action tips off at Iowa State on Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. vs. the Cyclones. The Mavericks then return to Omaha to take on crosstown rival Creighton on Nov. 13.
Omaha will travel to Kansas on Nov. 17 and head further west to Weber State on Nov. 21. The road trip wraps up with a trip to Chicago to play UIC on Nov. 29.
Home action opens on Dec. 2 with a game vs. Tennessee State. The Mavericks will then host the College of Saint Mary on Dec. 5 at 2 p.m.
The non-conference slate wraps up with Kansas State on Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. and Northern Colorado on Dec. 11 at 2 p.m.
