Omaha Places 199 Student-Athletes on the Summit League Honor Roll

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League announced today that 199 Omaha student-athletes were named to the league's Academic Honor Roll for 2020-21.
 
To earn the honor, student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have used one season of competition in the sport in which she or he was nominated.

The Mavericks ranked third out of the Summit League's eight schools in members of the Academic Honor Roll. In all, 1,560 Summit student-athletes were recognized.
 
Leading the Mavericks is men's golf, women's golf, and women's tennis with their entire rosters selected to the honor roll, while seven other Omaha teams had at least 70 percent of their rosters make the cut. Softball had 91 percent of its roster honored, while women's swimming & diving followed with 87 percent.
 
The Summit League will announce the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence and its Team Academic Achievement Awards later this week.
