USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Omaha men's tennis team fell 6-1 at Air Force on Thursday afternoon.
The loss drops the Mavericks to 10-12 on the season while the Falcons improve to 7-8.
Doubles Play
Air Force took the first two matches in the No. 3 and No. 2 spots to take a 1-0 with the doubles point.
Singles Play
The Falcons posted straight-set victories in the No. 6, No. 5 and No. 2 matches to clinch the match victory.
Matt Hulme won his first set before falling in the next two sets in the No. 1 spot. The Mavericks recorded their lone point when
Davis Lawley won the first set over Jonathan Mascagni in the No. 4 spot and clinched the point with an 11-9 win in the deciding third set.
