WEST FARGO, N.D. - The Mavericks finish the Summit League Championship placing fourth as a team with 548 points. On day three of the action, Omaha posted 13 top-10 finishes for a strong finish to the weekend.

"I was very happy with how we finished strong on the final day of conference," said head coach Todd Samland. "We had someone score in four of the six individual events today. We have a very young team where our freshman had some good experiences and our sophomores made some major contributions. A prideful highlight is having seniors Sydney Schneider and Alyssa Parsons with numerous lifetime bests. It was an awesome experience."

Omaha picked up three top-10 finishes in the 200-IM to begin the swimming events. Caroline Gardner placed fourth with a time of 59.00, Abigail Mitchell placed eighth with a time of 1:01.26, and Jillian Altmaier finished ninth in the B-Final with a time of 1:00.35.

Next in the 1,650-free, Carina Monroe and Maddie Mather placed for Omaha. Monroe swam a time of 17:46.13 for a seventh-place finish, while Mather finished ninth with a time of 17:52.97.

In the 200-back, Mallory Dickey placed sixth with a time of 2:06.41. Megan Latta picked up an eighth-place finish swimming 2:10.92 in the event. Schneider swam a lifetime best of 2:07.73 in the B-Final for a ninth-place finish.

Four Mavericks picked up top-10 finishes in the 200-breast. Placing fifth was Gardner with a time of 2:21.57. Leinart finished sixth with a time of 2:21.64. Parsons swam a lifetime best with a time of 2:23.77 to finish seventh, and Grace Lapuz finished ninth with a time of 2:25.88.

In the final event of the night, Morgan Baker, Gardner, Leinart, and Parker Hagemann swam a 3:31.62 in the 400-free relay to place fourth in the event.

Omaha finishes the season with a fourth place finish at conference and a 3-7 record on the year.
