Omaha, Neb.- Omaha volleyball's
Matt Buttermore announced today the signing of three student-athletes for the 2022 season.
The team welcomes two national champions and a state champion to the group.
Kali Jurgensmeier | Wahoo, Neb. | Bishop Neumann
As a four-year varsity player, Jurgensmeier helped her team to the state tournament three times. In her junior year she set a new school record for service aces in a single season with 67. This past season as a senior she set a new school record for kills in a season with 621 kills while leading the state in kills per set (6.5). She is ranked first in school history for career kills with 1,681, and second for digs with 1,357. In the 2021 club season, Jurgensmeier helped her team to a USAV National Championship in the 18 National division.

"I wanted to be a part of a successful program that was going to be competing for championships. Seeing the success Omaha has had the last few seasons, they have shown they are in position to be that kind of team in the Summit League."
Brynlee Arnold | Glenwood, Iowa | Glenwood
Arnold competed in volleyball, basketball and track in her four years at Glenwood High School. She started racking up the honors her sophomore year with being named KMA Defensive Player of the Year after breaking the school season blocking record with 114. Arnold was named to the All-Conference 1
st Team in her junior and senior year after helping her team to state. In the 2021 club season she helped her team to an 18 Open National Championship.

"I chose UNO because of the family atmosphere it gives. I am so close to home and it checks off all of my boxes academically and athletically. I can't wait to be a part of UNO Volleyball!"
Morgan DeBow | Overland Park, Kan. | Blue Valley North
The 6' 2" hitter helped her team to state twice during her time at Blue Valley North High School, most recently this past season becoming champions with a 40-2 record. DeBow helped the team to become ranked 10
th nationally. In her final season she earned All-EKL 2nd Team honors as well as being named the Team Captain for the MOKAN All Star Team.
DeBow on Omaha:
"I chose Omaha because I really liked the team and the coaches are absolutely amazing. Also, the area is gorgeous and when I met the girls I felt assured this was the place I want to spend my next 4 years."
