Sadie Limback is tabbed the Summit League TicketSmarter Athlete of the Month following September's action, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. This follows two Player of the Week nods on Sept. 7 and 21.
The Waverly, Missouri native played in ten matches making eight starts last month for the Mavericks. She totaled 156 kills with a .367 hitting percentage. Limback added two aces, 40 digs, and 30 blocks.
Limback notched double-figure kills in nine of the ten matches. Her tear began in a five set battle at No. 4 Nebraska where she tallied 11 kills. Limback added a season-high 22 kills vs. Arizona State and helped Omaha to a win vs. Georgia with 15 kills on a .464 hitting percentage. Limback finished a five-game streak with 13 kills vs. Illinois and another 22 vs. SMU.
In Omaha's home opener, Limback helped the Mavericks to a win vs. Weber State with 19 kills and five blocks. She added another 15 kills, seven digs, and four vs. Kansas State.
The right side hitter recorded 14 kills in Omaha's league opener vs. St. Thomas, and to cap the month's action, she notched a double-double with 17 kills and 10 digs vs. Western Illinois.
Limback's dominance has continued into the first week of October. She's now on a three-game double-double streak after posting 16 kills and 16 digs vs. Denver and 13 kills and 14 digs vs. Oral Roberts.
