GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Omaha men's tennis team fell 5-2 at North Dakota in the Summit League opener on Sunday morning in Grand Forks, N.D.
With the loss, the Mavericks drop to 3-4 on the season while the Fighting Hawks improve to 7-2.
Doubles Play
North Dakota notched wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches to clinch the doubles point going into singles play.
Singles Play
Yaswanth Mylavarapu recorded a two-set victory (6-1, 6-4) over Alex Mailes in the No. 6 match to bring the match even at one apiece. The Mavericks scored their second point after
Matt Hulme defeated Edmond Aynedijan, 6-2, 6-2. Trailing 2-1, North Dakota won the final four singles matches in two sets to clinch the 5-2 victory.
