OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha swimming & diving team suffered a 189-103 loss against Kansas at H&K Pool on Saturday afternoon.
The Mavericks fall to 2-1 on the season.
Omaha totaled two individual victories with
Darby Drake sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter dives with scores of 268.15 and 207.15, respectively.
Reece Cooper placed second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 247.85 while
Kady Eller scored a 200.85 to finish runner-up in the 3-meter dive.
The Mavericks recorded four top-three individual finishes in the swim events.
Caroline Gardner clocked a 1:07:03 to finish runner-up in the 100 breast.
Abigail Mitchell placed third in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.85 while
Morgan Baker finished the 50 free in 25.29 to place third and
Annie Leinart recorded a third-place finish in the 200 breast with a swim of 2:28.41.
The Mavericks return to competition on Nov. 21-22 with a triangular against Midland and Saint Ambrose at Midland.
